If the Holy Bible is corrupted, then the Koran must be false because the Koran says that Bible is uncorrupted. If the Koran charges the Bible of being corrupted, then the Koran must be false because the Koran is contradictory. If the Bible is uncorrupted as the Koran admits, then the Koran must be false, because the Koran contradicts the Bible even on historical facts. Sakshi Critics poses a trilemma for Muslims.
If the Holy Bible is corrupted, then the Koran must be false because the Koran says that Bible is uncorrupted.
(a) CONFIRMS: The Koran assumes that the Bible is uncorrupted. Surah 2: 41 says to Jews and Christians: “And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which IS with you”. If the Bible was corrupted during the time of Mohammed, then how he can say that he is confirming what IS with them.
(b) NO DISTINCTION: The Koran confesses that there is no distinction between the Koran and the previous revelations (the Bible). Surah 2: 285 makes the confession of Islam. It reads: “Each one believeth in Allah, His Angels, His books (note the plural usage), and His messengers. We make no distinction between one and another”. Then how can Muslims not believe in the Bible and make a distinction between one and another.
(c) FAR FAR AWAY: The Koran declares that any Muslim who does not believe in the Bible has gone far far away. Surah 4: 136, “O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messenger., and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray”. How can then a Muslim do not believe in the Bible but accuse it of being corrupted.
(d) LEARN FROM CHRISTIANS: The Koran commands all Muslims to learn from Jews and Christians when they have a doubt. Surah 10:94 “If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading The Book from before thee.” Instead of learning from us, Muslims have started accusing us.
(e) NO ONE CAN CHANGE: The Koran cautions all Muslims that no one can change the word of Allah. Surah 6:34 “Rejected were the apostles before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the words of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those apostles?” If Bible, according to the Koran’s own claim is the word of Allah, then how can it be changed?
If the Koran charges the Bible of being corrupted, then the Koran must be false because the Koran is contradictory. Moreover, Mohammed and Mohammed’s companion Ibn Abbas must be false, because both of them believed that the Bible is uncorrupted.
(a) KORAN MUST BE CONTRADICTING : As we already noted, there are a number of verses in the Koran which acknowledges that the Bible is uncorrupted. So, if the Muslims insist that verses like Surah 3:78, 4:46 etc as the textual corruption of the Bible, then the Koran must be contradictory as it also said that the Bible is uncorrupted.
(b) IBN ABAS, COMPANION OF MOHAMMED, MUST BE FALSE: Read what Ibn Abas has to say about textual corruption of the Bible. Sahih al-Bukhari, Book "The Oneness of God", the Chapter on Surat Al-Borooj (no. 85), Verses 21, 22 saying, "Nay this is a Glorious Qur'an, (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved.") we find in a footnote between 9.642 and 643: "They corrupt the word" means "they alter or change its meaning." Yet no one is able to change even a single word from any Book of God. The meaning is t
hat they interpret the word wrongly. (www.answering-islam.org). Ibn Abas must be wrong.
(c) MOHAMMED MUST BE FALSE: Mohammed believed in the Torah and revered it. You can read Mohammed’s confession online in the Hadith ‘Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 38 (Kitab al Hudud, ie. Prescribed Punishments), Number 4434’. “Narrated Abdullah Ibn Umar: A group of Jews came and invited the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) to Quff. So he visited them in their school. They said: AbulQasim, one of our men has committed fornication with a woman; so pronounce judgment upon them. They placed a cushion for the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) who sat on it and said: Bring the Torah. It was then brought. He then withdrew the cushion from beneath him and placed the Torah on it saying: I believed in thee and in Him Who revealed thee.” Now, how can Muslims accuse the same book being corrupted?
If the Bible is uncorrupted as the Koran admits, then the Koran must be false because the Koran contradicts the Bible even on historical accounts.
(a) HISTORICAL CONTRADICTION: Surah 28:8,38 and 40:36, Haman was supposedly the minister of Pharaoh than the Persian King. Again in Sura 20:85-88, it was the Samaritans who made the golden calf and mislead the Israelites during the time of Moses. Similarly, in Surah 19:27,28 and 66:12, Mary the mother of Jesus was supposedly the daughter of Imran (Amram) and the sister of Aaron ( a gap of just 1400 years!!!). It is interesting to note here that Haman was not an Egyptian name but a Persian name, Samaritans did not exist during the time of Moses. Also, Surah 4: 157, 158 denies the crucifixion of Jesus and says that “nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them”. Here one should note that Koran denies the possibility of verifying its claims with history. Any amount of evidence can always be denied by saying that ‘it appeared so but was not”.
Now you know why Muslims falsely accuse the Bible of being corrupted and cover the Koran’s own admissions.
