Dear Brother/sister in Christ,  I would like to invite you on behalf of the UESI (an interdenominational Christian student organization), Trivandrum and Sakshi: An Apologetics Network in India for a Christian open forum.  

Date: January 30, 2008 (Wednesday)

 Time: 6.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m.  

Topic: Challenges of Christian believers at their workplace 

Venue: Cobank towers, near Mascot Hotel, Trivandrum.  

Speaker: Prof. Henry Schaefer 

This is a program planned for Christian believers in order to equip Christian believers to be good witnesses in their workplace. 

Prof. Henry Schaefer, one of the most distinguished physical chemists of the world. He is at present the Graham Perdue Professor of Chemistry and the Director of the Center for Computational Chemistry at the University of Georgia.

He has held various prestigious positions and has been bestowed with several major awards and seventeen honorary degrees for his academic achievements. The U.S. News and World Report (December 23, 1991) speculated that Professor Schaefer is a “five time nominee for the Nobel Prize. 

In addition to his academic excellence he is also well known as a student of the relationship between science and religion. He has written several articles and lectured on this in many reputed universities throughout the world.  

We expect participation from all over Kerala and others from various parts of India are also welcome. Around four hundred people are expected for the program. The registration fee has been waived although prior registration is emphasized due to limited availability of seats.
