If the two studies by (1) Sabrang Communications & Publishing Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, India, and The South Asia Citizens Web and (2) Awaaz — South Asia Watch Ltd is anything to go by, a new disturbing pattern of RSS terrorist tactics is being revealed. In the time of natural calmatives like cyclone (as was in Orissa) and Earth Quake (as was in Gujarat), RSS raises funds from general public in the Europe and in the US (probably in other countries also) through its subsidiary organizations registered under different names as charity organizations in these countries eligible for tax exemption too and then uses the money given for humanitarian cause to create its network and kill minorities.

  1. Real Face of RSS

While the terrorist nature of its ideology, often masqueraded under the Hindu Nationalism for a wider appeal among unsuspecting Hindus, can be equaled to Islamic terrorism ( see Table 2), RSS actions also clarifies any doubt its true nature.

·         RSS has been involved in communal riot murdering of at least 5000 Indians (as indicted by various commissions) since 1960s. This is apart from its regular killing of Christians (where most often there is no riot as Christians are peaceful), murdering of its political enemies (such as in Kannur, Kerala where there is fight going on between RSS and Communist, and raping minority women. This also excludes the number of people whom RSS persecuted by beating, wounding and making them homeless

·         It has been thrice banned in Independent India twice for spreading violence and hatred

·         It has been indicted by 8 Independent Commissions in India for communal violence (see the table below):

They are many similarities between RSS and Islamic terrorism with the difference that RSS is national and the Islamic terrorism is international. This list is not exhaustive. It is shown so that fair minded Hindus may open their eyes and start disassociating from RSS. Otherwise they too will become hypocrites in condemning only the Islamic terrorism while condoning the RSS terrorism.

Non Hindus can convert to Hinduism but Hindus leaving Hinduism is a traitor (for proof see the next comparison).

For example, RSS does not have problem with ISKCON, Ramakrishna Mission or other Hindu organizations converting non-Hindus to Hinduism.It violently opposes Hindus converting to any other religion.

  Non Muslims must be treated as dhimmis (expecting no rights as citizens).

Muslims first claim victimhood before they start violence when in actuality there is no victimization

  1. RSS and Foreign Funds

After understanding the true face of RSS, now we must look at how they raise funds.

  1. In America: India Development and Relief Fund (IDRF)

In America, RSS collects its fund through a ‘charitable’ organization called as India Development and Relief Fund. Sabrang Communications & Publishing Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, India, and The South Asia Citizens Web notes:

The IDRF (India Development and Relief Fund) was set up as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization in 1989 under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the tax code. Its official, self-stated purpose is to raise money for organizations in India “assisting in rural development, tribal welfare, and urban poor.” According to its tax filings, the IDRF raised $ 3.8 million in the year 2000, of which it disbursed $1.7 million in ‘relief and development work.

However, this is how they have spent their money. “Nearly 70% of the IDRF funds go to organizations dealing with education (largely in adivasi/rural areas), hostels, 'shuddhi'/reconversion programs, and Hinduization efforts; about 8% goes for health and welfare work; 15% goes for relief work, and only 4% towards what is normally understood in the NGO world as rural development.”For example, one of its beneficiaries was The Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad of Swami Ashim Anand.

This same Swami Ashim Anand was identified as the main person behind forcible reconversion of Christians by the US State Department Report on International Religious Freedom.   1. In Europe: Sewa International UK (SIUK) and , Kalyan Ashram Trust (KAT, a registered charity, charity number 261327).

SIUK raised around £2.3 million for its India Quake Appeal from the UK public, though it also claimed to have raised £4.3 million in 2001. Awaaz — South Asia Watch Ltd notes: “ A document we obtained from sources in Gujarat shows how approximately £1.9 million raised by SIUK was to be used by Sewa Bharati in Gujarat.  We also have grounds for believing that all of the approximately £2.3 million raised by SIUK during its India Quake Appeal was for Sewa Bharati, an RSS organization.” (Source: http://www.awaazsaw.org/ibf/section2.htm)

After receiving the foreign money, RSS chased out Christian NGOs accusing them of receiving foreign money.

 

"RSS does not want any organization from outside to come and carry out any relief work in Kutch. It does not want any NGO that received foreign funds to work in Kutch. It has decided to send all the NGOs out of Kutch within 15 days resorting to physical vi

olence if they do not leave the place voluntarily. We Must Pray and We Must Act. We Must Pray and Act NOW and Stop these NGOs from funding RSS which in turn uses this money to kill and persecute Christians.
