Another ‘Six’ Against Muslim Arguments

Christianity and IslamGod is infinite and the truth about him is infinitely complex. However, ‘the father of lies,’ is using different methods to malign God’s truth by reducing it to some ‘simple’ statements. One of those methods is framing fallacious questions to misguide or create doubts in the minds of ordinary people, writes Prasanna.f

It is becoming increasingly apparent that the Muslim apologists have been used by the father of lies as powerful instruments in these last days to achieve his sole purpose of deceiving people and steering them away from God’s free gift of forgiveness and eternal life which are available only in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Muslim apologists have been trying to undermine biblical truths tirelessly and often pathetically. In their zeal they are willing to employ any question as long as it serves their purpose of maligning God’s truth, even if it is based on false assumptions. They seem to be willing to go down to any level of dishonesty and irrationality if they figure out that it will help them to ‘prove’ to their gullible followers that the Biblical Christianity is wrong. They are successful in this, particularly among their own kind. Here we can see some of the deceptive methods that the Muslim apologists devised against God’s truth, and how they can be countered logically and scripturally.

Muslims in general have two main problems in understanding the concept and nature of God presented in the Bible. Because of their failure to accept these concepts they continue to raise any number of questions which only expose their pathetic spiritual discernment. First, they are completely foreign to the concept of plurality within Godhead i.e. Trinity. Second, they are totally ignorant of the fact that both divinity and humanity were united (incarnation) in one person i.e. Jesus Christ. These two doctrines pose insurmountable difficulties to Muslim mind. It is therefore our responsibility and privilege to help our Muslim neighbors in understanding the truths that pertain to eternal life as presented in God’s word, the Holy Bible.

Ordinary Muslims may not go to great lengths to argue against Jesus’ deity, although they assume that he is no more than a prophet. What needs to be emphasized with such individuals is not Jesus’ deity, but his atoning sacrifice. Once a Muslim comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ he/she will certainly be led into all truth by God’s spirit as he studies and grows in God’s word.

Here let us examine six more fallacious arguments Muslim apologists love to use against Christians while failing to recognize their own ignorance and foolishness.

Fallacious tactic #1

Muslim apologists would come up with the following questions:

1. Can God be seen? (answer is ‘no’)
2. Did people see Jesus? (answer is ‘yes’)

Therefore Jesus is not God (according to Islamic reasoning!)

Is it sound reasoning? No, certainly not. Here is an example of the above reasoning:

1. Is water a hard substance? (answer is ‘no’)
2. Is ice a hard substance? (answer is ‘yes’)

Therefore ice is not water (according to Islamic reasoning!)

God, as he is, is invisible. God is neither part of nature nor within the power of nature. That’s why God’s word says He alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen or can see. Likewise, angels are also supernatural beings. They too cannot be seen by natural beings. However, angels can and did make themselves appear to humans particularly to the prophets of God. This is possible because of the powers they possess.  In the case of God, He cannot be seen both by humans and angels. However, by His power He makes Himself appear to both angels and humans (ex. Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Moses, Isaiah, etc.). God appeared in human form to Adam and Abraham. This shows us that man can see God if God appears in a form that man can perceive and comprehend. In the same way, when God appeared in the flesh as Jesus Christ, people were able to see him.

If Muslim asks “Could God be seen?”

Christians can respond in two different ways:

Response – 1

Christian: First let me know, what do you think about the angels? Can they be seen or not?

If Muslim says ‘no’ then they should be educated in their own religion. According to Quran and hadiths humans saw and conversed with angels. If Muslim says ‘yes’ then ask them why can’t we see the angels around us all the time? They might say that we can see only if they make themselves appear to us otherwise it is impossible for us to see them. To this Christians should agree. Christians should explain, in the same way God cannot be seen but if he makes himself appear to us we can see him. In the case of Jesus, he is not God as God has always been, but he is ‘God in human form and nature’. God made himself appear to humans as Jesus Christ who came into this world in flesh and blood.

Response – 2

Christian: Yes and no

Muslim: What do you mean by that?

Christian: God as only God cannot be seen, however, if God comes in human form and nature he can be seen.

Fallacious tactic #2

Muslims apologists ask another set of questions like these:

1. Was God born and has a beginning?  (answer is ‘no’)

2. Was Jesus born and has a beginning?  (answer is ‘yes’)

Therefore Jesus is not God (according to Muslim reasoning!)

God was neither borne nor has a beginning. God made himself appear to humans as the human being Jesus Christ. But in the case of Jesus Christ, God was not as what he has always been. God took on human nature and form. That is what Jesus Christ is. The union of divinity and humanity, which was made possible only due to God’s power, is unique and unparallel in the whole of creation. There is no such being anywhere else. Energy and matter are two different states and they have two different natures. They both can co-exist without cancelling each other out (eg. Iron and heat). Jesus as God remains as without birth and without beginning, but Jesus as man was born and had a beginning. Both natures, divine and human, co-exist without nullifying each other in Jesus.

If a Muslim asks a Christian the following question:

Was God born and has a beginning?

The Christian should respond with ‘no.’ However, when the Muslim asks the following question;

Was Jesus born and has a beginning?

The Christian should respond in the following way:

As God ‘no,’ but as man ‘yes.’

Fallacious tactic #3

Muslim apologists can come up with the following set of questions to prove their intelligence:

1. Is God self-sufficient? (answer is ‘yes’)

2. Was Jesus in need of things like food, water, rest etc.? (answer is ‘yes’)

Therefore Jesus is not God (according to Muslim reasoning!)

God as God is always self-sufficient. But God in the form and nature of man was in need of things

like food, water, rest etc. Jesus was not God as ‘only God’, but he was ‘God in human form and nature’. The need was only for the human form and nature.

When a Muslim comes with the following question:

Is God self-sufficient or not?

Christian should ask the questioning Muslim:

You mean God as ‘only God’ or as ‘incarnate-God’?

If the Muslim says ‘as God’ then the answer is ‘God is self-sufficient and he does not need anything.’ If the Muslims says ‘as incarnate-God’ then the answer is the opposite. But the Muslim may protest saying that there is no such a being as ‘incarnate-God.’ To which Christian should insist that there is such a being as ‘incarnate-God’ and he is Jesus Christ. If the Muslim has a problem with that the Christian can invite him/her to study the ‘Injeel’ (New Testament) with open mind and heart to see the truth about this himself/herself.

Fallacious tactic #4

Muslim apologists ask the following questions and feel that they have proved their point!

1. Is God immutable or changeless? (answer is ‘yes’)

2. Was Jesus changing in body and intellect? (answer is ‘yes’)

Therefore Jesus is not God (according to Muslim reasoning!)

Again, the same problem. Muslims who ask this kind of questions are incapable or forgetful of who Jesus was i.e. God in human form and nature. As God Jesus experienced no change but as man he did experience change.

For the question number 2 the Christian can answer in the following manner;

As man yes, but as God no.

Fallacious tactic #5

Muslim apologists sometimes appeal to the scriptures and interpret them according to their ‘reasoning!’

1. Do you believe that God is your God? (answer is ‘yes’)

2. Did Jesus also say that God is his God? (answer is ‘yes’)

Therefore Jesus is not God (according to Muslim reasoning!)

Muslims persist in their ignorance of who Jesus was. Jesus was God in Human form and nature. As man, Jesus refers to the Father as my God and my Father. However, he was careful to distinguish his relation to the Father from that of our relation to the Father. Which is why Jesus says ‘your Father and my Father, your God and my God,’ but not ‘our Father and our God.’

Muslim mind from its Islamic brain-washing cannot see God’s truth as it is, therefore it is prudent to avoid calling Jesus as just ‘God,’ rather emphasize his incarnation when making a confession of his deity, like: ‘Jesus is God in human form and nature.’ This way of responding to Muslim questioning will frustrate their evil efforts and at the same time exposes their foolishness.

Fallacious tactic #6

Here we will see one of the favorite arguments devil has devised against Jesus’ deity.  As faithful puppets of the devil both Muslims and Russellites (the so-called Jehovah’s Witnesses) use this argument with the following questions:

1. How many true Gods are there? (Answer is ‘one’)2. Did Jesus say that the Father is the ONLY true God? (Answer is ‘yes’)

“Therefore, Jesus is not the true God as he gave that title exclusively to the Father,” (according to Muslim and Russellite reasoning!)

Jesus is addressing the Father with emphasis when he said ‘you are the only true God’ (Jn.17:3).  For him to say otherwise would be promoting polytheism. Assuming that he could have said differently, like ‘you are one of the true Gods.’ This would mean that the Father is one of the true gods, which is a lie. The Bible teaches God exists and He is one. The Bible also explains that that one God is the true God. If someone is addressing the Creator and uses the terms such as ‘God’ or ‘true God’ or ‘only true God’ he/she is referring to the same God, but with various degrees of emphasis.

There is a world of difference between the following two statements. First one is in the Bible and the second one is NOT in the Bible. Had Jesus wanted to exclude himself from the ‘only true God’ he would have stated it like the second statement:

The Father is the ‘only true God.’ (Jn.17:3)

The Father alone is the ‘only true God.’

What we see in the Bible is what the statement 1 says. If the statement 2 were to be found in the Bible then the conclusion drawn by the Muslim apologists or the Russellites would become logically true. However, that is not what we see in the Bible. If Jesus were to exclude himself from the title ‘the only true God,’ as the questioner would expect us to believe, then he could have said ‘Father, you alone are the only true God,’ which is precisely what Jesus avoided in his address. The bottom line is if there is a God, then, He is the ‘one God’ and He is the ‘true God’ and He is the ‘only true God.’

The plurality within Godhead, which we call ‘Trinity,’ is way above Muslims’ mind. The Allah of Islam is ‘one’ in the sense that he is a mathematical unit ‘1’ which is just above ‘0’ but weaker than every other number!  But the God of the Bible who is the God of Abraham is ‘one’ in the sense that He is a composite unit, but not a mathematical unit ‘1.’ The God of the Bible is above every number one can think of. No number can represent Him except perhaps ‘∞’ (infinity).  That is why if at all we use mathematical symbols to represent God the three persons within the ‘Trinity’ can be represented like this ∞+∞+∞=∞ (∞-∞-∞=∞ and ∞*∞*∞=∞ and ∞/∞/∞=∞).

1. Islamic Allah is just 1, and therefore his value is less than any other number i.e. 1<2…

2. The Biblical God is ∞, and therefore His value is more than any number i.e. ∞>1…

Thankfully, not all Muslims are foolish enough to ask questions like the above. I have personally met Muslims who are wise, open, willing to and capable of engaging in meaningful dialogue in order to know the truth of God. Some of them have found it! God gave this promise, “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.”

  1. A wonderful meditation. It has has lifted my faith to a higher level.

  2. Really feel Pity towards your arguments.

even very first tactic fails. that Is

    1. water a hard substance? (answer is ‘no’)

    2. Is ice a hard substance? (answer is ‘yes’)

    Therefore ice is not water.

This example not completely suit ur arguments. Water is not ice and Ice is not water that is the reason English language(any language) gave different name to call it. If u keep one block of Ice and cup of water next to anybody who has not lost their sense and ask them to take water he will never take Ice and vice versa. Therefore Ice is not water and water is not ice at same time but the contents is always same that is H2O.(Contents of Jesus and GOD is different Jesus made flesh and Bones and the GOD, I don’t know really we human beings don’t know) Once water becomes Ice its existence as water lost and vice versa. So When Jesus Becomes God then no Jesus and vice versa according to Prasanna’s reasoning. Ur caption says Another six but better change caption to Another One because reasoning for all six is same that Jesus is Half God and Half Man. Like this u can make Another 600 not 6

  3. Hi Thahasil and other Islamic defenders, the above article I wrote for people like Christians who use common sense and sound reasoning skills in understanding certain foolish arguments. It is not meant for Muslim apologists, certainly not for people like Mr.Thahasil, who seldom use common sense and proper reasoning skills. As Thahasil candidly admitted, even 600 more of the above arguments would not make any sense to him and others like him! That is the point I am making in my article.

One of the assumptions behind writing the above article is that the Muslim arguers need to grow in using their common sense, reasoning and understanding Christian beliefs. Time and again Muslims like Thahsil, Amina Yousef etc. fail in this regard. Thanks to Thahasil for he has proved my point spectacularly! As a Muslim Thahasil thinks since ‘water’ and ‘ice’ are two different English words and therefore water is NOT ice. This is what I call ‘Muslim/Islamic reasoning’!

The English dictionary (Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English) has this meaning for the word ‘ice’ = Water that has frozen into a solid state

Thahasil (the Muslim) has this meaning to offer for the word ‘ice’ = NOT water!

This only shows how Muslims like Thahasil live blissfully ignorant in ‘Islamic reasoning’.

‘Ice’ is frozen water or water in frozen state. Either way, it is water in a different state without loosing its basic nature. Water (H2O) exists in liquid-form, solid-form and gas-form! It is ‘too difficult’ for Muslims like Thahasil to understand that the water can exist in three different states. Likewise, God’s nature is divine-nature. Even if God makes Himself to appear in a physical state still his nature i.e. divine-nature, remains the same. If scientists, of course definitely not Muslims like Thahasil, see water in its frozen state i.e. ice, on the moon or mars they jubilantly declare they found water! Why?! Because they use common sense, but not the ‘Islamic reasoning’!

Thahasil wrote, “This example not completely suit ur arguments.” Yes, my friend, this is true only to you and other Muslims who think like you. By the way, Jesus is NOT half God and half man. He is fully God and fully man! In order to understand this, if you continue to use your usual ‘Islamic reasoning’ even 6000 of my examples or explanations would not help you a bit.

May the true God help you to grow enough to understand His nature, love and the free gift of salvation He has prepared for all, including you Thahasil, through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

    Peace and Love,

    • Well, our Prasanna could have spent some time to understand the difference between God and Angles in terms of visibility, as it is quite apparent that he has left that conviniently. Lets take the difference from the bible itself, does bible say humans cannot see Angels ? No. Has any christian-angel claimed that ‘no man can see me and live’ in the bible ? No. Does Christian-God say that ‘You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live’ ? Yes (Exo 33:20). Does bible say no man has seen God or can see’ ? a big yes (I Timothy 6:16). So now we understand that since no angel has said anything about being invisible or visible, we technically cannot question them for their visiblity or invisibility. But the bible God says that any man who has seen Gods face would die and intrestingly he even says’He alone….whom no man has seen or can see’. Here Christian-God reveals two things about his visibility, 1) if any humans sees him, he would die instantly 2) No human has ever seen God (another contradiction ??). So based on these verses and additional things that God tells about his visibility, we get the right to question the visibility of christian-God or in other word, Jesus. One might even think that this verse would have been written before Jesus, but it may come as a suprise to know that this verse (I Timothy 6:16) is from new testament itself which was written after Jesus. May be holy ghost was little confused about Gods visibility, because all these bible books were supposedly written by the people who were inspired by the holy ghost. So since the bible say that nobody has ever seen God, there is only one conclusion we can draw that Jesus cannot be God as your bible say that people have seen Jesus and no one died. Thanks Prasanna for making our case rather an easy one.

      May peace be with you,
      Qaddaffi Sulaiman

    • im sorry, im too late to view jerry’s page…

      Hi Prasanna…

I think you didn’t reply to the below comment of Mr Qaddaffi… you forgot or I missed your comment.

      Anyways…I liked ur article…but not logical…

as u replied to Mr. Thahassil, that the above article is for the Christians and who has got common sense and blah blah blah…..if that is the case, you could have mentioned in your article that this is only meant for Christians who has got ‘common sense’ ….

with ur words, you have proven your weakness…you have proven that you are scared to answer the non Christians…if this is a open forum to comment your article, then you must expect the comments from people all over the world.. 🙂

Listen, here you are actually trying to prove jesus is God, by your own words or church teachings but u r not proving it from ur bible. are you?…

my doubt is where does Jesus says in ur bible that he is God and Woship me. show me one statement where jesus himself says this….

Solid, Liquid and Gas or Ice, Water and Vapour – water is present in 3 states ie., the component of water is the same – H2O. even if it is ice or water or vapour, it is H20….

here, Father, Son and the Holy Ghost…are they same..??? common prasanna!!!! with this example of water, are u proving that Jesus is the Father, son and the holy ghost????? what logic are you using here…..the example shows, however the state of water be, the component is H20….here ur logic is weak….Human has got flesh and bones…and they need food to eat….but God and spirit doesn’t have flesh and bones and God doesn’t need food to survive… know that right???

if you have read ur bible properly you wudnt hve given tis example…Its mentioned in the Gospel of Luke Ch. 24 -39 to 43,

Behold my hands and feet – Its I myself. Handle me and see – that a spirit has got no flesh and bones as you see me have. And he gave his hands and feet – And they were overjoyed. To prove what? that he was not a spirit or God Almighty. Jesus proves, A spirit has no flesh and bones, as I have proving that he was not a spirit – he was not Almighty God…

This is not my word brother, but ur bible says that…

if ur still with ur argument,

jesus says in ur bible, Mark, Ch 13- 32, it says ‘Of that day, of that hour, knoweth no man, – no, not even the angels in the heaven, nor the son of man, but the father’.

he said Except the Father’ – not even the angels, not even himself.

if father son and the spirit are same or all three are one(according to ur maths) then all should know the the last day…right???

Exo 33:20, You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live’

Now….if u think God can take human form, then he ceases to be God because Man is mortal and God is Immortal. You can’t have a mortal and immortal person at the same time.

  4. When a m0slm goto moon, on which direction and what times they pray?

  5. Is this site only for sixers against muslims and hindus? Dont you have anything to speak about the degenaracy within the christian church?

  6. for this the answer is so jesus is nt god .he is only the messenger of the god.if god have the human characteristics then y shud god create human

  7. A good website refuting typical Islamic arguments : The recent posts has some refutations on Dr.Zakir Naik by Dr. James White.

  8. Tahsil my bro, honestly speaking, your logic is very poor. I agree with Prasanna, please use common sense. No matter how hard you pound on the table and say what every you want, truth remains. I believe, one day, this truth would set you free.

Dear Ann, what is the meaning of the church that you are you talking about? The body of Christ, which the Bible mentions, is regenerating and growing very rapidly and in a good way.

Shabna my friend, leave aside what people from both ends are claiming, you honestly search for the truth in the scriptures with just your common sense. I am sure Christ would reveal Himself to you. This is a love call. Peace and God bless you my friend.

  9. do you have somewhere in your sites that answer the following question?or perhaps you can answer this questing in this posting

Is it possible that Jesus 100% Human and 100% God, since human and God are different in nature?

so the reasoning perhaps goes like this:

    1. God is infinite

    2. Human is finite

    3. therefore, Jesus can not be completely Human and completely God,

what do you think of this line of reasoning?

  10. How about this line of reasoning?

(i have not browsed through all of your websites, so if you have tackled this topic somewhere, fell free to direct me to it)

    1. God is infinite

    2. Human is finite

    3. Something cannot be finite and infinite at the same time

    4. Therefore, Jesus cannot be completely human and completely God

  11. Dear Richard!

Let me try to help you.

    Working definitions of…

    Infinite: Limitless

    Finite: Limited

Mathematically, a finite set can be a subset of an infinite set. An infinite set and a finite set are not mutually exclusive. A finite set can exist within an infinite set.

Likewise, infinite Being and finite beings are not mutually exclusive. They are accommodative. There can be only one infinite Being, namely God, and there is no space outside of that infinite Being. All the finite beings, including space, time and matter, that came into being exist within that One infinite Being. Not within the essence of the infinite Being, but within the presence of the infinite Being. According to the Bible all created beings (finite beings) exist within God (the infinite Being). Check for your self in the Bible (Acts 17:28; Colossians 1:17).

God is the only actual infinite spiritual Being. He is infinite in His existence, power, wisdom and life.

Man is finite physical and spiritual being. Man is finite in his existence, power, wisdom and life.

Jesus has both natures, namely, the nature of the infinite Being and the nature of a finite being. Simply because they are not mutually exclusive. Moreover, finiteness can be a subset of infinity as explained above.

To say that Jesus has God’s nature as well as human nature at the same time is NOT contradictory. However, to say that Jesus has God’s nature and does not have God’s nature at the same time OR Jesus has the human nature and does not have the human nature at the same time is contradictory.

In the light of the above explanation you can see that your line of reasoning in 9 and 10 are faulty.

Here are the answers to your reasoning…

    a. The first one…

    1. God is infinite

    2. Human is finite

    3. Therefore, Jesus is completely human (finite being) and completely God (infinite Being)

    b. The second one…

    1. God is infinite

    2. Human is finite

    3. Finiteness and infinity are not mutually exclusive. In an infinite set each part is finite. In that sense, something can be finite and infinite at the same time.

    4. Therefore, Jesus is completely human (finite being) and completely God (infinite Being).

    Hope you can digest this!

  12. I couldnt stop laughing the way you guys have been refuting and try to convince people of your idiocrisy. And moreover, asking people to use their common sense. By Any common sense, no one can agree to your reasoning of trinity. If jesus was form of god then agree that Jesus is the god and there are no other god. Just complete it saying God came as jesus, instead beating aroung the bush. But you cannot say that because, if Jesus as a god to earth, then who was managing the world. So, you need to have a some one high, so the father came into picture. No, did the father came on Mary to create a son (did he have intercourse), God cannot have, so you created a story of the holy ghost come over Mary and make the son Jesus inside Mary. (as explained by the bible. Pathetic arguments. Please grow up.

    • Dear SAR…
I really got impressed by your comments…I got remembered of myself years ago… But as you think It is not a story cooked up. They are truth and history…

There were prophecies that has to be fulfilled and birth of JESUS till his resurection fullfills all. And you could see Holy Ghost addressed in scriptures even before birth of jesus. In new testament there lived a man called saul(paul) who was a high scholar over old testament scriptures intially tried destroying christians but later became an apostle after having a personal encounter with jesus and realized the truth in scriptures over JESUS. if you get a chance go through the bible”, go thru it with neutral mind…you could find answers for all your questions.
Believe me im from a non-christian background had the same opinion years ago but not now… JESUS the GOD came to earth to save you and me…Core is “JESUS loves you, he died for you on the cross and rose again…so that you could get saved”

  13. Wow, I’m impressed by your arguments against the islamic accusations. It’s not easy to find good arguments on the internet. Keep up the good work!

  14. Nobody got any revelation saying jesus is god but to belive from bible ,but the prettyness is the authores of bible say that its not from any revelation rathere its from there own mind and what they heard from others so Bible is false and the calim that jesus is god or jesus is son of god or whatever you say is false.

  15. Dear Albruni,
How can you believe someone the son of their father. Then you will say through DNA test we can prove and if some is saying we can’t believe that test because it is not showing physically your father and how you prove that. So it will come from a faith. Faith is making you to live without problems. I am surprised how you easily believe that a cubic room is the house of God and a asteroid stone is from heaven for you to worship (it is idolatry). And the man who revealed that is not giving any sufficient evidence for that. But you simply believed that. And also asking to hate other people who is not his followers and about war and some fantasy heaven with 70 virgins and you very easily swallowed it. Use your own brain to study your book and Bible.

    • Dear johnson george,

Your logic is so fallible. You say that a son can identify his father through the DNA test and you also say that it is not physically proven. What do you mean by Physically-proven..?? Is not DNA a part of your body or where do you think the DNA come from..?? So I take your explanation of identifying father by faith as the acceptance of your blind faith over trinity that it cannot be explained and you can only have blind faith on this without asking questions. And the rest that you have wrote about Islam are nothing but your hatred towards Islam, and I think any christian who know little bit of Islam would agree to it.

  16. *similar opinion (replace it for “same opnion””)

  17. book deutronomy 6 4 moses peace be on him said our god is one gospel mark 12 29 jesus peace be on him said our god is one .when jesus said our god means what tht god is his creater his sustainer not that he created himself John 5:37
    New International Version (NIV)
37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form( what did jesus mean when he said no man has seen god or heard his voice)

  18. Water is not ice and Ice is not water

The problem is the way question is updated. why people worrying so much. let put it like

Does ice contain water ? or ice is made completely of water molecules? answer is yes.
    Lets take Quran:
    • Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.
    — Qur’an, sura 112 (Al-Ikhlas), ayat 1-4[7]

Here problem with out Muslim brothers is . If God cannot have children. How come Jesus Christ (My Lord and Savior – with respect).

    Answer is

    John 5:18

This saying made the Jewish authorities all the more determined to kill him; not only had he broken the Sabbath law, but he had said that God was his own Father and in this way had made himself equal with God.

Here he called God the father , to show he is equal to God. The Jews how has common sense understood that the term “Son of God” is used more than human.

So term “Son of God” does not mean God Just reproduce son.

  19. Don’t publish it use it for an alternative logic if it you think it would become helpful.

Christian: Does God have a weakness(something that he cannot do)?
    Muslim: God can do anything.
Christian: If you believe God can do anything – then he can then be Man right?
Muslim: No God cannot be man.
Christian: Then you are saying your God has a weakness – why worship someone who has a weakness.

Muslim: Instead of answering he will answer God will never come into his creation which is beneath him.

Christian: Just read Quran where Islamic god talks from a bush fire to Moses. (Proof that God did come into his creation – This was pointed out by David Wood)

  20. can any one plz explain about davince code flim? I saw the flim and i get confused.

  21. One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, “I am God” or where he says, “worship me”. In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):

    (i) “My Father is greater than I.”
    [The Bible, John 14:28]

(ii) “My Father is greater than all.”
    [The Bible, John 10:29]

(iii) “…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God….”
    [The Bible, Mathew 12:28]

(iv) “…I with the finger of God cast out devils….”
    [The Bible, Luke 11:20]

    (v) “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
    [The Bible, John 5:30]

  22. Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
    [The Bible, Mathew 5:17-20]

    3. God Sent Jesus’ (pbuh)

The Bible mentions the prophetic nature of Jesus (pbuh) mission in the following verses:

(i)”… and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.”
    [The Bible, John 14:24]

(ii)”And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent.”
    [The Bible, John 17:3]

    2. Jesus Refuted even the Remotest Suggestion of his Divinity

Consider the following incident mentioned in the Bible:

“And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?’

And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ ”
    [The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17]

Jesus (pbuh) did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should believe in him as Almighty God or worship him as God, or believe that Jesus (pbuh) would die for his sins. On the contrary he said that the path to salvation was through keeping the commandments. It is indeed striking to note the difference between the words of Jesus Christ (pbuh) and the Christian dogma of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus (pbuh).

    3. Jesus (pbuh) of Nazareth – a Man Approved of God

The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.

“Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.”

    [The Bible, Acts 2:22]
